April Announcements

Hello! Here are a few announcements for the month of April at Diaz School of Piano:

Upcoming Dates:

  • Remaining Class Winter Semester Schedule:

    • This Week: Decision Week (finalizing pieces for in-class recital)

    • Week of April 11: Recital Preparation

    • Week of April 18: In-class recital (more info below) End of Winter Semester.

    • No classes this week... studio closed.

  • Spring Session: Monday, May 2 - Monday, June 6. This 5-week session is primarily a continuation of the current semester, so most class times will remain the same if enrollment meets the minimum number of students. Cost for the 5 classes is $125 and you can pay via PayPal by sending money to ben@diaz.school.You can also Venmo payment to: @DiazSchoolofPiano, or pay by cash/check.

In-Class Studio Recital: The week of April 18 is the last week of class for the 2022 Winter Semester. Students have been preparing pieces these last several weeks. Studio Recitals will be during students' regularly scheduled class the week of April 18 (two weeks). Here are some details:

  • Students come to their regularly scheduled class this week

  • 10 minutes after the beginning of class, parents/family members can come into the performance area of the studio

  • Students can dress up if they'd prefer, but that is optional

  • Photos and video recording are allowed

  • Program order will be determined at class in the first 10 minutes

  • Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or need alternatives for that week

Mask Policy at the Studio: Masks are not required and still encouraged and recommended. I (Ben) am not planning on wearing a mask while teaching classes going forward, but am more than happy to wear one if that makes you or your student feel more comfortable. Your health and safety continue to be a priority during your experience at the studio. If you have any questions, please let me know!


Winter Semester Tuition Payment Plan: Full Semester Tuition payment is due on or before this Thursday, April 7. You can pay via PayPal by sending money to ben@diaz.school.You can also Venmopayment to: @DiazSchoolofPiano, or pay by cash/check. (The website drop down menu at www.diaz.school has been not working, so my apologies again for the inconvenience and confusion it may have caused some of you).Please let me know if you have any questions regarding your balance.
